Can someone tell me if the interior and interior moldings are interchangeable between and 86 and 87 Iroc Z? I have an 1987 Iroc and the interior is shot, I have found an 1986 Iroc that has a great interior and that's about it. If they are not compatible, it's not worth buying.

 

I would *think* that most of the interior would be the same on an '86 as an '87 (assuming they're optioned similarly), but I know for a fact that 1987 is a one year only seat fabric design.

 

With the exception of styling, I can't think of much that wouldn't be interchangeable... My 85, 88, and 89 all had similar parts inside... The car didn't really change.

If certain parts are a concern, I would ask about those specifically...

 

Main difference would be in the options. Power vs manual windows, slam shut vs hatch pulldown, Rr cargo cover vs none.
