The interior in my '84 is 22C, which is by option, is Navy Blue, supposedly the only blue interior colour for 1984. Now navy blue is a dark blue colour. My interior, including headliner, appears to be like a medium blue.
Unless GM's version of navy blue is a lot lighter.

Are you sure the 22C is Navy Blue?,I did a little searching and all of my sources for GM RPO codes are listing
83-84 were the only years to use Royal Blue.
22C as Royal Blue.I provided a link for Classic Ind.above.

 

I can only recall 1 shade of blue ever being used.... some used stuff might look darker/lighter depending on the fade-factor,.. but it all started out the same color blue.

 

I have what the factory invoice (from GM) called FDD2 Dark Blue CUS CLOTH. Here is an example of my beat-up door panels for reference.

 

I agree with Mantaguy . My ‘84 TA has a 22C interior and everything I have found on it says Royal Blue.

 

The door panels do seem to match my panels. The soft fabric - seats, headline, etc are much lighter.
