Brackets & Accessories?

LS1 swap into 88 GTA, have motor, ECM & harness and trying to get the other parts together so we can get started. I've done a lot of reading and searching but still not clear on what accessories from the L98 motor will work so I'll just run my list and say thanks for any input.

Will any of the current brackets bolt up correctly on the LS1?

I believe the answer to above is a no. Assuming I need new brackets should I use F-Body brackets and it's normal layout or look at Corvette type arrangement?

Assuming new brackets can I use any of the following off the L98?
Power steering pump?

altenator?

A/C compressor?

If I need to use newer LS1 compressor can the remaining parts of the A/C still be connected/used?

Last but not least, anyone have any input on pricing an L98 / 700R4 combo. It'll be complete with ECM and engine harness less any of these accessories I can use.

You would probably be better off going with the F-body brackets, I have heard that the Corvette brackets will not work.

Will the Original A/C, Power Steering, and Alternator work in the LS1 Brackets?

Aren't there kits that have the accesories in the 3rd gen location but bolt to a LS1? I think that's the route I want to do.

I haven't heard of anyone doing that.

Oh. Maybe I misunderstood something I read. I remember this from about a year ago, so it's probably something that became skewed after time.
