LS1 swap fuel pump ?

My car was a 305 TBI now i kno i need a new fuel pump and was wondering if i could just swap out my gas tank for the LS1 gas tank? or any other way of doing it? P.S. i have an LS1 parts car to take the gas tank and other stuff from.

You can swap the tank, you will have to find some way to either adapt the LS1 fuel lines from the sending unit to the 3rd gen lines, or run the lines to the front finding a way to route them. Or just drop your tank and put a Walbro 255LPH pump in the car.

just plug a walbro255 in your current tank.. its a direct replacement...

Yeah a Walbro 255 pump is the way to go.

Make sure you get a Walbro 340M... They are discontinued, but still for sale.
