price of swap

I'm planning on a ls1 swap with a tube k-member and arms and am wondering how much the entire swap would cost to get it done to daily driver status. also am planning on long tubes and such.

Too hard to say, the biggest is what you are going to pay for the motor/tranny. I've seen some with 6k all the way to 10k for the swap.

If you are going with a LS1/6-speed, if you want low milage (under 80k miles) you will be looking at about 3500-4800 just for the motor/tranny/wiring. If you want to send the harness off to get it modified, that's about 350, if you want to put the PCM under the dash in the stock location, I believe Kandiedz28 paid like 600 for speartech to extend the harness. Then you have the price for the fuel lines, fuel pump, k-member and a-arms.

Yeah, it can be done right for under 10k, then again it can be done right for under 6k, depends on how much work you want to do.
