Will 4th gen exhaust fit w/ LT1 swap?

The '94 Camaro parts car I got for the LT1/4L60-E came with Edelbrock headers/Y pipe and a Flowmaster catback system. The exhaust on my '91 Firebird is all stock. Can I swap the 4th gen exhaust into me 3rd gen without to much hassle? I'd particularly like to keep the headers and Y pipe if I can. I'm pretty good at fabricating stuff, so minor modifications are no problem. Thanks for the info.

no you can't use the 4th gen headers. I believe they hit the cross member and the firewall.

You should be able to use the edelbrock headers from what i've seen, but not the Y pipe, i'm quite sure they are a copy of the thirdgens with just different hookups for the LT1 and a different Y pipe, you'll just have to make some changes to the catback hangers for the exhaust to work.

I took a setup off of a 4th gen and used half of the i-pipe back and made a piece from the cat to connect to the i-pipe.
