I just went to the parts store with a drawing and measurements of what I needed and peiced it together.

Unforunatly they didnt have exactly what I needed so I cut 2 hoses up and put them together with a plastic radiator hose joiner made just for that.

As for the temp gauge, I used my stock gauge and grinded down a stock thirdgen sensor to the correct size and then tapped it.

I used a stock upper radiator hose from an LS1, and the lower was a gates part # but i dont have it handy. You have to cut it down though. Do asearch on Coolant Hose and it should show up. As for the sensor i did the same, just ground mine down and retapped it. Works great..........jt

How exactly did you do that? and where did you put it? I am under the impression that the ECM needs the ls1 sender for some reason. lol i would like to see my engine temp..

The sensor for the guage goes in the rear of the passenger head near the # 8Primary on the exhaust manifold or header. There is a bolt in it with a Torx head on it. Take it out and place your newly tapped thirdgen sensor in it. It has to be tapped to the same size as the bolt you just removed. ( i dont remember the sixe off hand) I used a bench grinder to grind down the diameter then the correct size tap from a tool and die kit. (Sears carries them). You could tap the head which is anothe option but the sensor was only $10.00 so i went with the modifying the cheaper of the two.

The sensor has nothing to do with the ECM, it is strictly for the guage. The sensor near the #1 primary on the drivers side is for the the temperature that the ecm needs, fan etc.........jt
