TV Cable Part Number

I have a 97 Trans Am LT1 I am puting into my 91 Camaro RS. My camaro has the 700r4 trans. I got the TV cable and everything, but the people helping me with the swap think it may be the wrong part... because it says GM years 1976-1989. the part number I got was 70242. does anyone know by chance if this is the correct part? if its not what part number do I need to be looking for??

I was told somewhere by someone to use the 1993 TV cable. Thats what I'm using. My rebuilt tranny slips though and doesn't kick down to first all the time at Wide Open Throttle, so I'm not sure if its my tranny or the cable. Its probably the tranny. Nobody worry about me though, doing a 6 speed swap this fall/winter(hopefully).

I think the thirdgen owners who do just the LT1 intake swap(not the entire engine) use this cable also.

Shoebox(shbox.com) has the part number for that: http://shbox.com/1/tv_cable.jpg
