Smog on the LT1

So, with my GTO lease ending soon, I need my T/A back up and running. I got most of it done, new plug wires, rear end bearings, etc. And now I am starting on the exhaust. I went out there today and realized a. I forgot the keys to the TA in VA. B. It had just rained and the driveway was all wet. and C. I need to do the EGR with the rest of the exhaust work. So, I helped my younger brother with some welding instead I suppose I could have pulled the Y-pipe off since the dougnut gaskets need replacing, but I lacked motivation.

But that brings me here, how the heck do I work the EGR on the LT1? I have a steel pipe from the intake to nowhere. People say weld a fitting...well, what kind of fitting/ I know what the pipe looks like, but I can't exactly go to napa and say I need a fitting...so, yeah, can you help? How about the AIR routing? I have the SLP headers, so fortunatly there is no addional welding needed there...

Thanks! I hope to be back into the thirdgen soon, and hope to have mine "nice" soon

I dont know how you figure you dont need to do welding to the headers just because you have SLP headers, maybe you know something magical about them I dont know ?

You need to weld a pipe with a flange to the rear passenger side primary to connect to the pipe coming from the back of the intake that you just left hanging around.

Here you can see that the pipe would normally go

hmmm, I guess I have just never seen a standard pipe flange....I figured there must have been something more to it....I guess I'll have to check out an auto parts store then, or the home depot or something? and find it. I actually want to make a new tube since my SLP headers are ceramic coated. So I'll run the egr down to the Y-Pipe...
