will the 94z fuel tank, pump and lines work?

I'm trying to do a lt1 swap on my 91. I have not pulled anything apart as of yet. I'm just in the process of stock pileing the parts. I want to know if I can use the stock fuel tank, pump and lines out of the 94 z28 donor car? If so what mods would I have to do to make it work? I have heard others say they used the tank but nothing in depth about it. Thanks for all the help... I can't wait to get this ride rolling....Kris

I looked up the achives and it looks like it would be a pita? I guess I'll just stay with getting one out of tpi car...The budget don't let me just go out and get a external walpro. I just happen to have the whole 94z and wanted to use everything I could...mapping my road to destruction...

I put a tank out of a 94z into my 82z. I had to extend the neck on the tank and that was all.

I done the fuel tank with no problems with my LT1 swap. If your concerned about getting the old one out the easyest way is to get some roofing metal roll it up and take the fuel lid and fille piece out and shove the rolled up metal down the side of the filler neck. THis will keep the filler neck from hanging up on the rear frame stull. This cut my last fuel tank swap in half. Down to like 3 to 4 hours.
