Please help wire lt1

Hello I made a mistake and placed a thread in the TPI Forum for help to wire my lt1.

I am new to this computer stuff. Dont know a thing about it. I can fix any mechanical thing but I need help in learning what wires I need and the wires I can get rid of.

I do have the LT1 from an 96 caprice calssic with the 4l60e tranny. I want to use this set up in an 1983 chevy truck. I also have the ECM and almost all the wires from the firewall forward.

Oh also dose anyone know a good place to order brackets so I can put the AC back on the LT1???

Thanks in advance for any help at all. Oh and love the site. Easy to use!!!

Okay so I read and then reread all the info you have in the site on wiring the lt1. I have the harness already on the engine. I need to know what needs to be done so it wil start, run, be able to use my gages. I do not have the insturment panel from the caprice. Is their a lot that needs to be done to have oil, temp, speed and tach work????
just a few questions. Thanks
