What exactly do you need to do to run a LS1 with a TH 700R4? I have built 700R4 that I do not want to get rid of. Has anyone hooked up a TV cable to a LS1 TBI? Any help would be great.

theres a bracket you can get for the throttle body.. there is also one off the tranny that lets you bolt up the ls1 flexplate to the r4 convertor on ebay

 

Where is this LS1 flexplate to TH700R4 convertor plate on ebay I looked and could not find it.

I don't really know anything about the LS1 with a 700R4 but if you put a 700R4 behind an LT1, the PCM needs an electronic VSS signal to calculate loading on the engine and what not. It may be the same for the LS1, but I don't really know. I do know that there is not an electrical output from the 700R4 though...

 

One other thing to figure out is if the LS1 PCM will control the 700R4 lock up. If not get an old school vacuum switch. In fact I have one if you need it
