Re: Show me your engine bay
Sheesh, not one stock engine or TBI in here yet?
This is a daily driver. I can't afford to make it super fast, so I keep it clean as possible, so I have something to be proud of when I pop the hood...
The car has 110,000 miles on it, and was pretty well trashed when I got it. Interior and exterior. All together now I guess I have about $2000 in it. Thats $600 for the car, $150 for another donor car, and the rest in parts. Tires, starter, alternator, O2 sensor, EGR valve, plugs, wires, filters, brakes, audio, struts, drag link, ball joints, idler arm, tie rods, track bar, head liner, yadda yadda yadda, and a set Iroc rims with 245/50/16's on them. I'm sure there's more I've forgotten, but you get the point... As of now, everything works. Air, heat, cruise, wiper delay, all of it. Anyone wanna buy it?

Here is mine, I just got done spraying it on Sunday... Putting in a LS6 with a decent sized cam and a Stalled Auto, it's a 91 RS Vert. Color is Torch Red.

Thanks!
The bracket if from here: http://www.hotrodlane.cc/ They've changed the catalog, but you'll have to search under the LS1 accessory section. It's probably shown as part of a kit, but you can buy the A/C brackets seperately.

Re: Show me your engine bay
All the pictures look great! I'll post pics up later of the "current" setup and progress pics as I do a lot of custom work to dramatically clean up the engine bay.
One thing I see:
Nobody has figured out a way to get rid of that bulky, in the way, UGLY and HUGE wiper motor! (besides just deleting it).
Has anyone figured this one out??? I'm going to engineer a new system using a smaller motor and linkage/motor in the cowl rather than on the firewall.

[quote=//<86TA>\\;3605470]I guess i get to post mine again, i need some newer pics...still need to deal with that fugly radiator hose
Nice bay
Why not go to your local parts store and look @ a catalog
You can, for sure, get one that shape without that restrictive ribbed junk
If you can't or don't have access, PM me, I'll try to find you one in my Gates Jobber Data Cat @ work

Re: Show me your engine bay
I made a template for the outline then took it to a friend who is a fabricator. He used a bead roller to put the lettering in. Then I polished it. I wish I had the equipment and talent to fabricate stuff like that.

Re: Show me your engine bay
Close to getting it on the road. Hopefully this weekend. Just need to do a couple finishing touches.

My coolant and squirt bottles are where my air filters used to be with the stock TPI setup so what you see here is my final. I tucked as much of the harness as I could underneath my upperplenum so you don't see them.
