I got to thinking.. You cant use one of the bolts on the transmission cause the blocks not drilled for one...And all earlyier mod transmissions dont have the very top hole for the bellhousing. So your only using 5 bellhousing bolts. Is this strong? Just something to ponder.
not sure what you are getting atMember
do you mean the fact that on ls1 engines theres no top bolt and u cant use the passenger side bolt?
Well its fine for all normal applications from what i've been told. But if you start getting into high horsepower applications, people weld on ultrabell bellhousings, which you can buy in the proper bolt pattern. But then again, if you were running a high hp app anyways, you would switch to the ultrabell for sfi. lol

Yea sorry about that i was in a rush.. Yea i mean the upper passenger side bolt is not drilled and tapped in the block due to #8cyl. So you can't use that bolt hole.. Also on the 700r4 the very top middle bolt is not there..So all yu've got is five bolts. Is that enough holding for 500-600hp?? I guess it is because of some f-bodys running tens and nines with th400's right?? Feedback please
