ls1 lifters in lt1???

Engine: 383 LT1
Transmission: built 700r4 and fuddle 3500stall
Axle/Gears: 4th gen 3.42 auburn
ls1 lifters in lt1???
I got a set of Ls7 lifters part number 17122490 the part for the kit that they are sold in is 12499225. will these work in an lt1 motor? i know they are physically the same size but ive read things about different spring cup sizes and travel and all that. Im running stock size 7.2 rods on it and wanted to make sure this will work before i install them.... A buddy told me they will and i believed it at the time but im kinda doubting his knowledg at this point.

ive heard the opposite... i was told i would need a shorter one cause the spring cups are shallower?
