out with the old, in with the new

I'm currently in the planning stage for pulling my gen 1 383, and replacing it with a new LQ9 crate motor from Turn Key Engine. I expect the new motor to have similar power to the 383 (500hp/450lb ft) although I'm sure the power curve will be different.

Does anyone who has experience with the new generation motors have any advise or suggestions?

There is a subforum in the Engine Swap forum for the topic, where this thread is now. Start by reading the LS1 sticky in the top section of the subforum.
