GUYS. I REALLY NEEDS SOME HELP HERE. I STARTED MY PROJECT ON FRIDAY 4 OF JULY NEEDLESS TO SAY I'M ABOUT 80% COMPLETE. AFTER ABOUT 5 HOUR OF WIRE TUGGING. EVERYTHING LOOKED THE SAME.
ON THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUSE BOX THERE'S A RELAY FOR THE FUEL PUMP. THERE'S SEVERAL WIRES.. GRAY,BROWN, BLACK AND RED.
NOW WHERE DOES THE RED WIRE GO? IF ANYONE HAS A CLUE PLEASE LEND A HELPING HAND.. THANKS.. VIC..

Pink(or red) on the LT1 fuel pump wiring should splice into ignition power wire at the fusebox and should be wired up to a fuse. (Ignition power is only on when the key is on).

Here is the schematic for 4th gen LT1 wiring for fuel pump(actual wire colors may vary slightly):

One wire to the relay should be , one pink 12v switch from an ignition source, one generally green/white coming from the PCM, one side going to the wiring going to the fuel pump and the ground wire.

on my MIL connector under dash, how important is it at the moment will the vehicle start with out it. i just noticed a funky connector that was in the same route with the old 88 ecm, not connected to the ecm, but ran along side of it though the fire wall on the passenger side. i think those are my MIL& ac control connector if so is this where I'll be splicing all my data info from my PCM? other wise that I've had a hell of a good time this pass week. I'll be back to work on Sunday vacation over.
