Which A/C compressor??
Hi All-
I got a super deal on 98 C5 engine. I couldn't just leave her sitting there, and go home alone.....:-)
Of course, some accessories were not on the front. I just got an alternator. I have thought of using my current R4 compressor (new in '95), with a custom bracket... x-cept the compressor has a V-belt pulley.
Do the C5 and the 4th Gen F-bodies use different compressors? Is it just different mounting? I was looking under a neighbor's C5 hood yesterday. It was hard to square what I saw with the descriptions I've read and pics I have seen on this forum.
