OK here's the plan, I'm ordering a FAST 92 mm intake and TB set-up for my 2001 so I'm going to take the LS6 intake and stock TB off the car and put it on my 5.3L. Since I'm running LS1 injectors and a SLP LS1 MAF can I just use a 98-02 M6 F-body computer to run this motor? I'm assuming all the sensors are the same so I could even use a Painless LS1 harness correct? Also on accessories, I read the truck stuff hits the hood and looks like crap. Will the corvette accessories bolt up to the motor? Thanks!


Oh, and the plan is to install a TR224/224 on a 112 LSA cam with patriot springs. Would this be a good cam choice for a 5.3?

 

You will need a tune when done but yes in my opinion the easiest route is to run an m6 LS1 computer and harness ( mod one or get a painless ) although I cant say for certain what sensor plugs are the same when comparing cross platform off the top of my head but im sure you'll find that info over at Ls1tech. As for the cam? I love that cam i run the same one. Just enough bottom end and it pulls HARD from 3500-6500 see sig for times


Patriot Golds are the best spring available PERIOD as I see it. Stock lifters, stock rockers, 90k mile engine and TWO seasons of 7K RPM limiter pounding and all is good here
