its alive

i finally started the car on thursday and restarted it today.. it sounds so nice. .and settles to idle. although after i rev it a bit, rev fall and then the engine picks up, i want to check it with a scantool sometime next week. and the radiator hoses needs replacement - i probably would order custom ones from Orme Brothers. then the extra elbow on the intake, tune out the air and egr monitors on pcm (gto never has those systems on the car), put the seats in, set the gauges, get the lable and im inally back on the road after year and a half of rebuilding and improving))))yey!!!!

Re: its alive

Bringing up an old post, did you end up using the stock GTO oil pan? I read in another post that you said it would clear, but I wanted to know what you went with. Thanks.

Re: its alive

GTO's have a front resevior which is exactly where 3rd gens have a K member

Even tubular K members put a support bar thru the front since most engines have a rear resevior

He either went with a Fbody, vette non batwing or cut down a truck pan
