progress finally

after a couple of years of parts gathering I finally had a hot streak this week. I'll show some shots I took the last couple of days as I went. This is my pretty much cherry 92 RS. It WAS a 305tbi car. Now is being uprgaded to an LSx motor, th350. The 9" is already in along with the rear LCA's and adjustable panhard. Has a UMI torque arm with the k-member and driveshaft loop. The front suspension is a hawks k-member with a rack, Spohn arms and coil-overs. Hope to have the motor here at the house this weekend so I can bolt it to the trans and drop it in that big empty hole!!

that'll do for now I guess. I have more and will be be trying to keep up as best I can with the swap. I've done all this with no help so far and it's frustrating and fun all at the same time. I think so far the hardest part was hanging the 9" and bolting the torque arm up..... it SUCKED!! Thanks for the patience and advice from here. Between here and LS1tech it's been a lifesaver and a budget breaker all at ONCE!!

Re: progress finally

Cool, Cool.
I'm not going to do the rack steering, but yes on the coil overs.
Which LS. I will be interested in how your stuff fits.
Engine on stand, parts around in drawers and everywhere else. Maybe next Spring for me.
Enjoy!!!
