LT1 swap questions

Ok, so as I'm building my lt1, I was wondering if you actually have to have an lt1 radiator? Or could I use my stock one? I know that lt1 uses reverse cooling so could someone answer that for me?

Re: LT1 swap questions

I haven't done this, but when the Chevy raceshop first did this, they left the third gen radiator in the car and just played with the hoses.

Re: LT1 swap questions

You can keep your thirdgen radiator. No need to swap in the 4th gen, though you can if you have it and want to.

upper hose for a 94 camaro. use the branched off pipe to connect to the throttle body or if you are doing the throttle body bypass just connect it to the other hose on the passenger side of the throttle body.
