power steering hoses

well i had a early 70s 350 in my 86 z28 till last week when it blew my ideas are to put an lt1 in it already got the motor waiting for me... i was looking and my motor is from a 95 fleetwood which pressure hoses for the power steering could i use i heard about the caprice or impala ones.. but would it matter if my motor is from a 95 fleetwood looked them up at my job (autozone) and the fleetwood one is shorter than the impala one which one should i get? are the fittings the same ?

If I remember corect the powersteering hose (feed/pressure side) from a camaro threaded right into my 87 steering box. I just needed to bend the hard line a little to route it. As for the return line, I saved majority of the factory thirdgen return/cooler line (below the rad). I just cut it on the passenger side and attached a hose with a clamp and ran it to the remote resivoir that I mounted on the passenger wheelwell.

oh ok thanks alot bro and thanks for the idea of the return line iam going to cut it where it turns back to the steering box under the radiator and put a hose with clamps to the pump which is also going to be on the right side of the motor... thanks alot you just opened up my mind to alot of ideas!!

i was reading up and heard something about the power steering fluid boiling up and making noise with out the cooler lines is that true
