LS1/4L60E Spohn components

Has any of you swappers completed or in progress with a LS1/4L60E swap and used Spohn motor mounts and Spohn trans X-member ?

or am I the 1st one?

I would like to find out your experiences and also get some pictures of clearence with the oil pan and stock K-member and also a picture of the Spohn X-member installed with the 4L60E.

I have been searching in this section.. looks like many of you are done or doing LS1/T56 swaps.

Re: LS1/4L60E Spohn components

I just got my motor and trans in with their mounts and x member. stock k member clearance is real tight on the oil pan and had to do some pushing on the trans to get the trans mount to line up with the bolt holes. weird.

Re: LS1/4L60E Spohn components

I notched my stock k-member doe a/c and oil pan clearence. The Spohn motor mounts fit nice. Just had to dril a pair of holes for the 4th mount bolt(extra).

The trans X-member didnt line up for some reason. about 1.5" to 2" off.

So I am ditching that and getting SSW long tubes instead and making my own X-memeber.

Plan is to make em out of 2X4 wood and then take it to a shop and ask them to replicate.
