Any Tips or Suggestions?

I am currently planning to swap my 96 Z28 LT1+T56 into a 89 Firebird V8.

My camaro was totaled due to extensive body damage, but the drivetrain still rocks. My Camaro has about 113K miles.

Any tips or things to replace or upgrade? Was thinking a valve job and maybe some other things. I have about 2-3K to spend for the whole swap. I also already replaced the Optispark with a new one from MSD.

Thanks,

Alderon

What wiring harness is in the car now? Tpi? or tbi? and are you changing the harness? I'd like to know how the swap goes.

This is your basic LT1/T56 swap. We have a sticky on the topic, and even a sub-forum for it.

Moving this to the sub-forum now. . .
