Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 342
tpi lt1 swap
i have a low milage 96 lt1 in my shed. but i also have a bad *** tpi set up. will i be able to use the long block lt1 as a direct swap from my motor in my 87 5.7 tpi camaro. what will i need to change

Not even close to a direct swap. Longblock not a viable option.
A complete LT1 swap is possible. Discussed often, including a sticky, there's even a sub-forum for it.
