Radiator hoses (LT1 swap)

Well...I tried searching...I think I'd go blind trying to sort through all the results. I looked through a few and really didn't find my answer...

I have swapped an LT1 into my 3rd gen camaro...and I have cobbled up radiator hoses. I know someone out there knows a part number for hoses that fit this application properly...or at least very close to properly. I've actually got one fitted to the top pretty good, the one I'm having problems finding is the lower hose. Anyone know what I need?

Re: Radiator hoses (LT1 swap)

I used a 94 vette on the bottom and a 94 or 95 camaro up top. IIRC both will fit with alittle trimming.

Does the upper hose have the small hose branching off to the throttle body or is it a single hose?

Interesting piece of information i learned today although some of you may hate me for putting a ford part on my car but i did the LT1 swap to my 87 bird and found my brothers upper radiator hose from his 88 Mustang GT and it fits right on with no trimming. This is with me using my stock 87 radiator too. so i used a 95 roadmaster upper and you can use an 87-93 Mustang 5.0 upper as your lower

Re: Radiator hoses (LT1 swap)

cant you just buy flexible hose and cut it to the length you need?

hmmm, interesting. I never would of guessed that. Maybe someone can save a few dollars by buying the Mustang hose instead of the Corvette one.
