Ok, so the closer I get to firing up my car, the more paranoid I have become with small things with the setup. Probably the one that sticks out in my mind right now is my fuel line.

I ran my -6AN braided line up the frame rail until it got to the cross member, which I then shot it up 45* straight into the transmission tunnel. It comes up into the engine compartment right next to the oil pressure sensor on the block just to give you an idea. The reason I did this is because my SSW long tubes tuck so close to the frame rail, I was afraid of boiling the fuel in the line if I ran it down the frame rail like the factory lines did all the way to the engine bay.

Now, I know the transmission shouldn't move around too much, but regardless, I'm paranoid. It wasn't TOO tight of a fit, but on the same token, there's not a whole lot of room between the bell housing and the trans tunnel. I figure the cross member with the trans mount, along with the torque arm being installed will keep movement to a minimum? What do you guys think?

Id only be wearing if its rubbing constantly against the transmission. You dont want it to wear against the stainless braid, as its a point for static electricity to transfer, and it can over time damage the line.

I ran mine up the frame rail then off just under the booster. I wrapped the line with heat wrap near the header area so i didnt ahve to worry.

 

I suppose I could get some header wrap and just wrap it to be safe (against friction that is). Thanks guys. I'm ready to fire it up on Saturday, just have a few things to button up before the tuner gets here.

 

I plan on running new line when I do my pump upgrade. Im either going to do braided stainless, or custom hard line all the way up front. Im thinking about running it through the subframe where the header sits. There are already big holes in that area, so another 3/4" hole or two to pass the line through wont hurt anything.

Tho..ive never had any issues with fuel boiling or anything of that nature...that I know of. The fuel just goes through there too fast I think.

You should be ok..like the others side. As long as it isnt hard into it, or rubbing constantly, you should be fine.
