You won't be using the SD harness.

Use a V6 or TBI from 90-92

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...p-3rd-gen.html

Some pins changed in the C100 with the older cars

So a 87 or 89 harness won't work?

When you say "SD harness", you're talking about the ECM harness, I assume. That can be disconnected and pulled out in whole, you won't be using any of that for the swap.

What you will be using is the C100 harness, which connects to the firewall bulkhead harness on the driver side, completely separate from the ECM harness. If you don't want to cut that up, then go get one from a junkyard. The ones Pocket recommended will be relatively plentiful and cheap from the junkyard. Pin-outs for the C100 are linked in the LS1 swap sticky, and in Pocket's thread. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...formation.html
