LT1 Fuel line question
Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a LT1 swap into my 1987 Trans AM. The TA use to be a carb. I've heard i need to replace all of my lines from tank to engine. However my lines are metal already. I'm going to guess they can handle the LT1's FI. I believe there may be some rubber coming off of the sending unit which i have to replace along with the pump.
So i guess my question is, will those metal lines handle the pressure of FI?
Thanks!

If originally EFI, the rubber can handle it. If originally carb, you need to at least change out the rubber, but the metal can handle it.

Out of curiosity, which was yours, carb or TPI?
I may have over stated it, as all 87's had the in-tank electric fuel pump, and I'm not sure if the carb cars had the same rubber line or not as TPI.
