LS1 swap/ wiring Harness/ecm???

Can you use the original ECM from a third gen when you LSX swap??? or is it better to swap the ECM from the lsx engine??? Basically how does this work??? From ECM to ignition...

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E

Basically you pull the 3rd gen ECM and wire up the LS1 PCM.

Very well covered in the LS1 swap sticky.

Being in San Diego, that will be the least of your problems. Getting all of the LS1 emissions equipment into your 3rd gen and verified will be a lot more involved.
