My LT1 swap
My LT1 swap
hey guys im new to thridgen.org but not to f-bodies. I had a 95 formula bored .060 over, ported stock heads shorites and a bunch of little odds and ends in the engine and suspension about a 330 wrhp car nontuned. Unfortunatly my car caught on fire during a test run after pullung the motor to do some maitnance. So i have decided to swap it into a 87 TA that i just bought.
I have a full 95 Trans Am parts car that the motor and body are no good but has a t56 and the wiring harness and other things i need. ive looked into the swap over the past couple of weeks and have a fair knowledge of what is invloved. Im lookingt to have about 450-500 wrhp. between the 360 block, Trick flow 185cc 21* heads, nice size cam, ported intake manifold and comp tune my goal doesnt seem that hard.
Thought id intoduce myself and see if any or you guys have any advice for me ahead of time of the small things i might have over looked.
I will post pics of the cars as soon as i can.
Also have spare parts for sale like body parts from the forth gen id any one is interested. also the 87 TA has a TPI set up and a T-5 trani is anyone is interested.
Thanks in advance.
