I recently swapped in a LT1, and put in a Summit Racing aluminum p/s reservoir. The problem im having is the p/s fluid is always coming out the top of the reservoir. The reservoir is baffled on the low pressure line, the system is not overfilled as the fluid constantly comes out until it runs dry. Ive bleed the air from the system already but it continues to happen. Anyone have any good suggestion????

 

is it mounted higher than the pump? I'm not sure if that would be the issue. hose diameter to small maybe?

 

The reservoir is mounted above the pump on the passenger fender, and ive got 5/8 id hose from the reservoir to the pump and 3/8 id line from the pump to the steering box and 3/8 line frox steering box back to the reservoir. Could the pump not be working properly or sucking the p/s fluid from the reservoir properly?
