T56-vs-4L60E Crossmember Difference

Hopefully in a month or so, I plan to start my LS1/4L60E swap into my 88 camaro. The question I have is, what kind of modification is required to make a Spohn T56 crossmember to work with an 4L60E transmission.

The mount location is several inches rearward with the T56. Weld a long tab extending forward from the T56 position

Look and see
