Well this weekend we decided to check some stuff while replacing the stock hydrolics with a tick master cylinder and came to one problem after another. We wanted to go ahead and address this oil leak we knew about while we had the trans out(making sure everything was still as it should be) and noticed the leak coming from both corners. so we ended up buying a new rear seal gasket kit which didn't really solve the problem since it was at corners so we used some sealant. One side still leaks so. My next guess would be to change out the oil pan gasket? (Which we wouldn't even do for a while since we don't want to take out the engine again just yet). Also we noticed the cross member rubbing a little bit. So hopefully the oil pan will be fine before something big happens. What do y'all think?
Did you use the proper tool to align the rear cover when it was reinstalled or just eyeball it?
Pan gasket might get it but dont bet the farm on it

I didn't know there was a tool to reinstall it? I thought it just bolted in place. I think it might be the pan gasket. You can see oil in different spots around it so that's my guess

The rear cover and oil pan intersect at the rear of the engine. The rear cover needs to be in correct location or oil may leak out of that joint.
