lt1 swap fuel and lines?
Alright so just about to do the lt1 swap i have the whole car for a donor and could i just use the fuel tank and its lines in my car to avoid custom line work its wanted just cheaper the better right now. And about power steering lines i know it's gonna be custom just looking for ideas there
Re: lt1 swap fuel and lines?
4th gen lines come up behind the drivers fender well and through the top of the strut mount. Not happening on a 3rd gen
For the PS lines, find a metal rod or tube and bend it to the shape/length of the lines you need fabricated and note what ends need to be built. Now go to NAPA or other hydraulic shop and have them make a set

You can still do a cheap fuel setup. Get a 255 fuel pump for just over a hundred bucks give or take. And you can get lines made to mate with your stock hardlines to the fuel rail for about ten or twenty bucks.
PS lines from a B Body(Caprice or Impala) and the should fit with little to no bending.

Re: lt1 swap fuel and lines?
Ill probablly change it eventually. Its definatly 100x better than the stock 2.73, but id like to have a 4.10, or just swap out the 10 bolt all together. Theyre really not that great of a rear end all together if you plan on doing some mods, but just for street use I think a 3.73 would be a good choice.
Good luck with your swap!
