Fuel Sender Line ID

I am installing custom fuel lines. I know the feed line but which of the other three is the return. Can i block the other two and run a vented cap?

Re: Fuel Sender Line ID

quite a few of us are doing it. i had a carbed setup originally, so my lines were no good.

the cheaper braided stuff can seep fumes over time, but mine's not been together long enough to have that problem....

Re: Fuel Sender Line ID

they are really easy I just made some for my trans... when you cut them use black electrical tape and tape the hose as tight as you can then use a cut off wheel run some compressed air through them and spin on your fitting remember it has reverse threads make sure it bottoms out on the fitting and lube the other side of the fitting and screw it in done...

Good call on the tape. The fitting caps are left hand thread when you first put them on the hose. Threading the fitting onto the cap, its standard RHT

On the vette filter/regulator, feed is 3/8", return 5/16". Your fittings will only fit one way

Re: Fuel Sender Line ID

I had good luck using a chop saw with a large cutoff disc. tape up like others recommend to reduce fraying. use a light touch of oil on the threads to reduce cross threading and binding.
