Lt1 t56 with 6.0 l motor.

Hey, I'm tired of my old 350 block. Just has no power. It came with a t5 sitting behind it but I yanked that out and did the whole t56 conversion. The tranny came from a 97SS with the lt1 motor. I have rebuild it fully and now I am on the verge of buying myself a new motor. So my question is can I buy a 6.0L motor and have it bolt up or will I need a conversion or will I simply need the t56 from a lsx?
If so woul it be best to just sell the trann(rebuilt t56) with the 350 I have and use that money towards a whole 6.0 setup?(Engine and tranny) how much do you guys think I should put it up for. I'm talking about whole motor, trans and all they will need for the conversion as I am assuming I should just go auto afterwards?

Let me know what your guys options are and what would you guys do?
I just pulled out my interior and threw a new carpet with some 4th gen seats.
Just finished doing some electrical work and just ordered some suspension parts so I'm trying to get this whole car together and I'm trying to see what to buy first! Thanks ahead!

The LT-T56 you would have to change out the input shaft along with the bell-housing, along with purchasing the LS clutch components to make it work. Flywheel, clutch kit, master, slave cylinder. Selling the setup and buying a LS-T56 would be the easiest.

Yea I figured.. What do you think a good price for them is?
And do you recommend just rebuilding the 350 to perhaps a 355 and some goodies on the side or just go with a whole 6.0 setup?

The first time you pull out of the driveway with the 6.0, you'll never second-guess your decision.

Just read the LS1 swap sticky, and pay attention to the link about starting with a truck engine.
