Future ls swap question

? Since i have no ac heat or even the controls for it also since ill be running an ls1 with its ecm, comp, etc.. all on seperate harness and aftermarket gauges can i cut all of this out the connectors were all on the pass. side and dont know what the black box is for by the connectors in the first pic

thats what ive done but it still looks kinda cluttered i was just wondering if i could so i could illiminate any loose wire/connectors for a cleaner look not a big deal if i leave them just have to find somewhere to hide them where they wont be in the way
