LTx aftermarket pan fitment w/thirdgen long tubes?
LT1 + Hooker 2210 LTs + Aftermarket pan
Car won't be on slicks, has Nitto NT05 rubber on it, but might one day have R Compound tires on it, def not this year though I'm too poor from all this other stuff. Any one know of any issues with the fitment of aftermarket pans for road racing, or if Oil Control is even an issue with the stock B-body pan?
I did some google searches, along with searching here but nothing definitive popped up in the searches. If I don't need an aftermarket pan then thats great stock one works for me. I just figure its better to ask than not and find out later when the engine is knocking from being starved.
Car is intended for street/HPDE/Auto-X, very little drag but I would like to do stuff at Gingerman, RA, Blackhawk farms and not worry about possibly destroying my engine from a lengthy side load. RA's Carousel could possibly be a killer at speed as its a fairly constant G-load that lasts many seconds.
