5.3 harness wiring

Okay so i think i got all of this understood
I took out all the wires that were Unnecessary and cut off the fuse block this is my understanding.
The orange wires go straight to the battery, the pink one to the ignition, and the black ones are ground theres 3 i believe.
Am i missing anything or am i good?

You can if you want, just as long as you know that they were seperated for fusing of left/right banks etc. I joined my main grounds etc together and have things fused at the original fuse panel.

Re: 5.3 harness wiring

My car was originally carbd so the fuse panel had a few extra/empty spots.I used heavier gauge wires directly from the main ignition harness to the fuse panel and from there to the ecm since my ecm is in the passenger side of the dash.Just make sure you have the right ignition wire depending on the yr of the car I believe its a thick pink wire at the steering column and the other is white iirc.It must have 12v during crank or your going to have a very simple but no start condition when your done simply from the ecm etc not having power while the motor turns over lol.
