ls swap wiring questions
1. Since I have a whole ls1 donor car would it be best just to trash all my thirdgen relays and use what's with ls1 car such as fuel pump relay, fans and etc..??
2. Looking at austinthirdgen.org diagrams it looks like I could bypass my vats by just grounding one side of the coil to the starter enable relay...does this seem correct?? Seems to simple

Thirdgen relays are more than adequate and there already there ..
Bypassing relay is just that easy ..

The last part of the 3rd gen VATS is the starter relay and yes grounding it is that simple. The LS1 PCM still needs VATS tuned out still unless you move all the 4th gen stuff over including the IGN cyl

Re: ls swap wiring questions
I also had an entire donor car when i did my swap. I ended up using the stock 4th gen fuse/relay box under the hood. There are two on the 4th gen car i had, but i took them apart and made everything fit in one box. I have my fans and fuel pump fuses and relays in there, also have plenty of open slots for any miscellaneous fuses etc. There are many ways you could go about it, but having the entire donor car sure gives you alot more options. Good luck !
