Third gen accessories

So this might be a stupid question but I haven't really found any info on it. I was wondering lets assume you can make brackets for it but why can't you use the third gen p/s and alternator and air conditioning? Seems to me that if you just swapped them to serpentine you would be fine?

I assume you are talking about an LS swap.

If you're using a factory LS PCM, it controls the alternator and AC.

But, I guess there's no particular reason you couldn't fabricate brackets and use the 3rd gen parts. Many swappers have used the 3rd gen AC compressor.

Since I started with an f-body LS1, it was simpler for me to use those accessories (although I didn't hook up AC - yet, anyway...).
