LT1 throttle body arm ratio's

You guys ever notice the throttle arm on the y-body vs f-body has a different ratio?

I measured it, and the vette has about 1" of travel, vs almost 2" for the fbody version.

I'm guessing that translates to more aggressive throttle response on the vette?

I have noticed a difference in the arm as well. Having a 370 -410 rear gear makes that short travel lever respond almost too quickly causing a speed surging when using cruise control..

That makes sense. The Ybody typically had 2.59 and 3.07 rear ends, so they probably wanted better throttle response due to the lame rear end gear.

I suspect they didn't want to increase the Dana36 beyond 3.07 to avoid breaking the case.
