I am buying a complete 2003 4.8 engine/ transmission along with radiator,coolers,fans, lines, basically anything I can take of the donor truck all for $500. Engine runs good and has 120k. My friend will rebuild the trans for me to handle 5-600 hp.

All this is going into 86 Camaro, plan on going efi route. I read upon all the things I have to change/modify i.e. harness,cpu, oil pan, accessories,intake,etc.

I plan sending the heads to Texas Speed for a stage 2.5 build, changing cam, and intake.

It's a budget build until I can buy a new 6.0 shortblock and swapping everything over.

My question is will my wiring harness,heads,accessories,intake,trans,radiator,et c all swap over to the 6.0?

 

Yes, everything should swap right over. Just make sure the 6.0 you get is the same relucter wheel (24x I think?). Not sure what casting the 4.8 heads are, but the smaller combustion chambers will bump your compression up. Make sure you know the cc when you choose your pistons on the 6.0. Get the casting number and do a Google search. So much info out there on what heads to run on the 6.0 you'll get a headache reading it all, lol!
