venting fuel tank
reusing 3rd gen tank and sender. with my TPI motor, the tank would build massive amounts of pressure, would blow the cap out of my hand while unscrewing. I obviously wont have a charcoal anymore, so how can I vent this thing safely? I still have the white relief valve by the fuel filter, i blew in it and it pops off, but for some reason my tank held pressure

Re: venting fuel tank
I originally skimmed through that and all I gathered was to replace the white valve in the rear by filter. I blew into mine and it popped off just fine. Maybe I'll give it a try if I can find one.

Re: venting fuel tank
I was browsing and saw a fuel cap with a pressure release button on it.
I will see if I can find it again.
Found it. But it's for a Saab. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Saab-Fuel-Ca...VY9GeI&vxp=mtr

The threads look like they might fit our F bodies.
