Vats problem

1987 trans am GTA. 95 Lt1 9c1 engine, trans and pcm.
Turned off vats in Tunercat. Scaned for errorcodes in scan9495 and IT says vats stil is activated in pcm!
Any idé whay this is happening to me?

I used this and didn't code VATS out of the PCM. I hope I am not violating any rules by putting this link in. http://www.3rdbrakeflasher.com/gm-va...lt1-p-182.html It worked great for me. I put it on a fuse in the factory fuse box so I can remove the fuse to activate the VATS.
