As far as I know lpe took the 74197 as a blank casting .
drilled the lt1 bolt pattern and blocked the side egr and used a thermostat housing block off plate.
the distributor hole could be used to get rid of opti or a expansion plug could be used in its place.
thats why there is a distributor hole.
