Edit, I found out that they don't work with aftermarket mounts which are symmetrical

I have what appears to be Hooker blackheart brackets but they are not even close to lining up in the factory holes. I have the copycat Holley oil pan and it is too close to the driver side. If I flip them around 180° from the instructions everything seems to line up okay but I have to drill new holes. I have the k member out so I don't have a way to judge if the engine is going to be too far back
thanks.

I did not take any measurements, but I did take pictures in my build thread; they're some of the first ones on the page, and you shouldn't have any problems with clearance with the truck balancer.

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...p-factory.html

For the record, I considered the Blackheart mounts, as Holley was touting them as the best in the land with "proper" engine placement... But nobody on here had used them, and Holley would not guarantee the factory driveshaft would fit.

So I went with UMI adjustable mounts, and they seem to work; car still isn't driveable yet, but you can tell from the pictures that the truck balancer will fit, and you can make the truck AC compressor work easily, too.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks. I was alerted to the problem on an LS Facebook group. The hooker brackets only work with factory LS fbody mounts. I had bought a set of poly aftermarket mounts that were symmetrical. This is what caused the issue. I ordered the brackets from the same company so it should line up nice.
