I need help customizing my 2002 SS camaro!!!
I'm really excited about customizing my 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport (15,000 miles) but I really need an experienced opinion on what to do. I'm going to pull the engine and I want to put everything on except for the super charger which i'm going to do in a few months. So far I have the following parts:
ZR1 Wheels 17 x 9 1/2, 17 x 11.
Eibach Lowering Kit (springs lower vehicle 1.5 inches).
Koni front & rear shocks
Slp functional hood.
Power programmer.
Borla cat back exhaust system.
Y-Pipe
Edelbrock ceramic coated headers.
Mcleod racing clutch.
Hurst short throw shifter.
Air Flow Research Heads.
K & N air intake.
Front & rear sway bars.
So I guess my main questions are what things I need to put in when I already have the engine pulled.... I know it's important for reasons of cost to make sure I install what needs to be installed while I have the advantage of the engine being out and ready for work so I really want to do this right.
I know i'm at least going to need a cam, maybe spark plugs or something. I just don't have the experience to know exactly what to do.
Should I get the BBK SSI 85 intake manifold with mass air flow sensor or would another one be better?
Should I go with Hotchkis strut tower brace and sub frame connectors or would something else be better? what else should i do?
So please help me! Thanks so much for reading this and.... well I hope this works and I am able to get some great feedback!

Sorry but this thread will soon be locked. You would have much more imput from www.LS1tech.com or www.cz28.com. They are your 4th gen experts. I would just get a mild cam and a TB. You already have the LS6 intake so there's really no need for something like an FAST intake unless you REALLY need it. Good Luck with the car. I know you'll enjoy it.

i dont think this thread should be locked because though it is i a fourth gen hes asking motor questions. hes not asking how will this paint look. and motor info is good from any generation. however it should be moved to the engine forum. just my two cents.
